Job Description

General Summary:

The Manager, HCI Sales Planning I is responsible for assisting in the planning and development of sales objectives, sales roadmaps, and goad of the HCI field sales organization.  This position will provide support in defining and deploying HCI sales targets, scoping of key sales initiatives, and tracking of progress to plan.  Other responsibilities include providing analytics to support HCI sales goals, sales reporting, and various operations aspects of the business.

Essential Job Function:

1.       Support the planning and development of sales performance metrics and strategies in support of corporate and HCI sales goals and create and manage field and management reports to capture forecast vs. actual performance.

2.       Planning and Coordination


•         Coordinate sales district alignment/re-alignment strategy, planning, analysis, and execution.


•         Evaluate F&I product growth opportunities and strategies.


•         Evaluate, plan, and improve dealer segmentation strategies.


•         Assist in the development of sales initiatives planning and coordinate implementation.


•         Co-lead the coordination and planning of field training strategies and HPPU quarterly training events.


•         Assist in the coordination of sales event planning (region/national meetings).

3.    Analytics


•         Analysis of HCI sales performance and recommendations for improvement.


•         SWOT analysis of HCI and primary competitors, provide competitive analysis reporting.


•         Support/identify opportunities for HCI loyalty and conquest through data analytics.

4.    Reporting


•         Responsible for various month end/operational sales performance reporting.


•         Support sales planning report automation efforts.


•         Provide month-end IBP reporting.


•         Support ad-hoc reporting as needed.

5.    Operations/Communication


•         Support SFCD efforts as they relate to sales planning and field operations.


•         Support new dealer onboarding and new DMI onboarding efforts.


•         Coordinate all HCI field communication for HCI Planning and Analytics (incentive programs), HCI Product/Pricing events, and HCI Operations updates.

6.       Perform all other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:


•         Excellent group presentation skills, ability to think on your feet


•         Ability to evaluate business needs and develop plan for maximizing sales opportunities


•         Ability to operate with minimal supervision; self-starter


•         Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others


•         Innovative thinker with ability to make improvements to process & getting things done


•         Experience with Access, Excel (Advanced), Word, and Power Point (Advanced)


•         Experience with Sales Force.com reporting tool


•         Ability to organize information, problem solve, and create strategic recommendation


Education and Experience:


•         BA/BS in Sales, Marketing, Finance or related field; MBA preferred


•         6 years related Sales, Marketing, Finance or equivalent combined experience in all  disciplines


•         Business Administration experience preferred


•         Credible performance of sales leadership in prior roles

Physical Requirements and Working Condition:

 

Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office environment.
