Job Description

Position can be a Manager I or Analyst III, Supervisor depending on experience.

General Summary
This employee is in charge of supervising the collection activity of 8 – 12 collectors. This employee will spend time developing the collectors’ skills in accordance with the CBS call model and the necessary technical knowledge appropriate for the collectors’ role.

Duties and Responsibilities
Management of the skip tracers inclusive of regular account reviews to ensure quality performance
 Perform regular review of accounts to ensure all collection techniques are utilized
 Ensure accounts are worked thoroughly inclusive of all skip tracing efforts before submission for charge off
 Train, coach, counsel and evaluate team members with a strong focus on skip tracing efforts and loss mitigation
 Conduct side by sides with team members
 Promote a positive working environment and teamwork
 Understand and analyze various reports to watch for trends in team performance
 Promote highest quality of service to all Hyundai internal and external customers
 Assist in minimizing losses for the department
 Encourage team members to find ways to improve current

CBS Model Application-Coach, train, develop and counsel and evaluate direct reports while reinforcing the CBS call model
 Monitor and coach to all aspects of the CBS Call Model
 Develop and deliver monthly collector development plans
 Perform call calibrations to identify areas of opportunity in the CBS call model
 Provide value added coaching and mentoring to all associates

General Departmental Duties
 Assist in interviewing/hiring activities
 Work closely with other departments on lease and retail matters
 Thorough completion of projects assigned with in allotted time frame
 Work closely with the Department Trainer on training issues
 Develop and maintain effective relationships with all departments of HCA and HMA

Education and Experience
Bachelor degree preferrred
Five years collection experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role
At least 2 years of automotive collection experience
Microsoft suite experience
