Job Description

General Summary

The Director, Dealer Programs & Predictive Analytics I oversees the analytics team needed for the ongoing design, development and implementation of risk-based data and analytics, as well as management/deployment of the consumer related retention programs.

This position manages resources that develop and implement analysis and modeling to manage and measure customer loyalty, customer in market propensity, dealer performance, and lead optimization.  The position also responsible for monitoring, testing, and reporting on program performance.  A/B testing and champion challenger tests will be key tasks that this position will design, implement, and track. This individual will be responsible for driving innovation in both analytic and non-analytic functions, providing advanced data analytics, showing a strong grasp of forecasting processes and macro-economic trends, and working very closely with senior peers in Sales, Operations, Technology, Decision Management, Legal and Finance.

Duties and Responsibilities

•       Enhance value through micro segmentation, analytics and predictive models to target right customers with right products and treatment for all markets and products.

•       Leverage predictive modeling to develop programs that enhance customer retention and improve dealer traffic.

•       Design and perform champion challenger campaigns to optimize program performance.

•       Track and report on program performance.

•       Lead a team of Managers and Analysts. Responsible for the development and training of team members.

•       Perform all other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills

•       Process of understanding problems and recognizing connections to prioritize and develop solutions that align with organization goals.

•       Ability to apply knowledge across multiple disciplines including, but not limited to, sales, marketing, finance, insurance and risk.

•       Ability to work on multiple projects and attention to details and timeline.

•       Demonstrate strong presentation skills and ability to explain complex data analysis.

•       Good understanding of data analysis and statistics.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, or related quantitative background required; Master’s degree preferred
  • 12 years of relevant experience within Consumer Financial Services or Automotive industry
  • 7 years of management experience in leading team members
  • Strong PC skills; Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, and Relational Database concept

•       Prior Credit scorecard and statistical model development experience a plus

Physical Requirements and Working Condition

Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office environment.
