The Business Development Manager’s primary focus is to develop, implement, and expand, district sales initiatives and relationships with each business partner as well as to increase HCCA presence and support for standard and subvened retail and lease products, in order to exceed annual sales objectives. Successful candidate will be conducting business in Ottawa/Gatineau.
Key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
  • Retail and Lease Volume and Penetration, Efficiency Metrics, Retention and Upstream rates
  • Support OEM goals
  • Prepare and present dealership portfolio results and program analysis
  • Provide competitive information and analysis, provide competitive recommendations
  • Complete all required company training and certifications
  • Develop and execute sales action plan in conjunction with the RGM, including prioritizing dealer contact activity within the district as per existing HCCA dealer segmentation
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

  • BSc/BA preferred for potential candidates
  • Experience with captive finance company dedicated to specific OEM preferred
  • Experience with Automotive Lease and Retail product offerings
  • Experience with dealership operations process, preferred
  • Ability to analyze difficult situations, respond quickly and logically to resolve issues amicably
  • Broad, comprehensive, and working, social aptitude for computers, ever increasing skill sets
  • Capacity to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing, at all levels
  • Penchant to gain cooperation and commitment from OEM partners, subordinates, and others
  • Previous experience with Lease required
  • Valid driver’s license
