The Business Development Manager’s primary focus is to develop, implement, and expand district sales initiatives and relationships with Hyundai and Kia dealerships as well as to increase Hyundai Capital’s presence and support for standard and subvened retail and lease products. Successful candidate will report to the Director of Sales and will conduct business in Manitoba/Saskatchewan.

Key duties & responsibilities include:
  • Attain Hyundai Capital’s goals within the assigned sales district including retail and lease volume and penetration results, efficiency metrics, customer retention and vehicle upstream purchase rates
  • Build strong relationships with dealer principals and dealership staff
  • Market and sell Hyundai Capital products and services
  • Prepare and present dealership portfolio results and program analysis
  • Develop and execute sales action plan, including prioritizing, scheduling and facilitating dealer contact activity within the district
  • Support Hyundai and Kia OEM goals
  • Provide competitive information and analysis, provide competitive recommendations
  • Complete all required company training and certifications

  • University Degree or related experience preferred
  • Experience with Automotive Lease and Retail product offerings
  • Experience with dealership operations process, preferred
  • Ability to analyze difficult situations, respond quickly and logically to resolve issues amicably
  • Broad, comprehensive, and working aptitude for computers
  • Capacity to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing, at all levels
  • Penchant to gain cooperation and commitment from OEM partners, subordinates, and others
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Position requires 75 percent travel
