Job Description

SUMMARY:
 
The Analyst, Recovery Support II has two primary responsibilities; The first is to manage the day to day servicing of accounts placed with third party vendors - work with collection agencies, attorneys and skip 3rd party vendors’ staff to resolve customer account issues, manage the regular placement and recall of accounts to 3rd party vendors and approve settlement requests within limits. The second responsibility for the Analyst, Recovery Support II is to analyze account caseload reports and make analytical decisions about where to route accounts based on capacity plans and performance criteria.
 
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:
 
1. Work with vendors’ staff to resolve various account issues. Assign or reassign accounts to appropriate vendors based on stated criteria. Respond to 3rd party vendor’s media requests.
2. Pull recoveries data from various reports and databases and prepare monthly recovery reviews along with vendor scorecards.
3. Responsible for various recovery support functions including processing incoming mail, processing dealer reserve accounts, searching for updated address for returned items, reviewing and routing newly charged-off accounts, monitoring charge off sales, and reviewing / updating various Recovery reports / spreadsheets for tracking purposes
4. Assist in managing impound service vendor, sending weekly updated files and processing impound / lien notices utilizing CRM system to input all pertinent data
5. Prepare ad hoc reporting as needed
6. All other duties as assigned.
 
 
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
 
  • Good problem solving, planning, organizational and prioritization skills
  • Must have ability to multi-task, pay close attention to detail, and ability to work in fast paced environment
  • High to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Must have good oral and written communication skill
  • Well organized and the ability to work independently.
 
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
 
  • 3-5 years in a collections and recovery environment preferred
  • High school diploma or general education degree.
  • BA Degree is preferred
