Job Description

General Summary:

The HMF/KMF Regional Operations Manager’s (ROM) primary focus is to support or develop regional product and program strategies to drive HCA asset growth (retail, lease, commercial, insurance, CPO) in alignment with OEM Regions. The ROM will also lead in the development / deployment / use of regional reporting measuring product, program, and OPEX tracking.   This will allow the region to more accurately forecast and track.  Lastly, the ROM will be the lead regional person in the development and deployment of consultative selling within their corresponding region.  This will require that the ROM help execute and monitor the content and development for the rest of the field sales team within the region.  The role will also be responsible for product knowledge training, systems training and F&I sales training in the dealership in support of New Car Programs and CPO products and brand.  Training can be one to one or group environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Regional Product / Program Development Support

(retail/lease/commercial/CPO/loyalty)

•       Joint OEM/HCA program development

•       Forecasting, analytics, reporting

Regional Planning

•       Budget, compliance, new product launch, events, forecasting

Regional Consultative Selling Execution

•       BDM Training (onboarding, financial statement analysis, consultative selling)

In Store – Dealer Training (new dealers, product, CPO, consultative selling, loyalty & retention, process)


Knowledge and Skills

•       Demonstrated sales aptitude

•       Demonstrated operational ability

•       Highly proficient with, MS Excel, Tablueau, and MS Power Point tools

•       Demonstrated dealer service and field support skills

•       Excellent captive finance business system acumen (finance and insurance) is a must

•       Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and business system skills

•       Excellent communication skills

•       Ability to independently manage multiple projects

•       Proven ability to benchmark within industry and outside of industry to develop enhanced offerings within HCA

Education and Experience

•       10 years previous experience as a field sales representative in automotive finance

•       Captive experience preferred

•       College Graduate preferred

•       Data analysis and reporting skills required

•       Proven territory management and account acquisition activities

•       Experienced in sustainable account development

•       Adept Dealer conversion

Physical Requirements and Working Condition

•     Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in dealer, and office environment.

•     Travel required up to 80%.
